Based on merit from the entrance exam administered by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE), Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has announced the most recent cutoff information for the B.Sc. in Nursing program. Self-financing, self-supporting, NRI, and All India seats are available for admission. The program is exclusively available to female candidates who fulfill the requirements, which include being medically healthy and having completed 10+2 with at least 50% of the possible points in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (45% for SC/ST candidates).

University of Kashmir, South Campus, is very renowned and famous for its higher education. The college has very good placement. The package starts from INR 2 lakhs. 

For Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, 5 BTech students were placed in 2023. The median package offered to BTech students during placements 2023 was INR 6.50 LPA.

Looking at the statistics, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University seems to have a worse placement record when compared to University of Kashmir, South Campus.

MIET - Modern Institute of Engineering & Technology  offers merit-based admission. The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admission. The eligibility criteria for all the UG courses is pass Class 12 from a recognised board and for admission to Diploma courses candidates are required to pass a Class 10 from a recognised board.
