Birsa Agricultural University is one of the best universities for any student trying to make his/her career in agriculture. The rankings of the university are not so high but it cannot be said that it's a bad university. The placement packages offered here are also decent. According to the latest data, the median package offered to UG students was around 7.5 LPA and, for PG students, it was around 8.09 LPA. The placement packages are good. Not getting into IIT Dhanbad or any other top IIT should not be considered the end of a student's career. While IIT Dhanbad average package is INR 16.59 LPA for its 2026 placements batch, can IIT Dhanbad guarantee the same for each and every student of the batch? The answer is no.
