The dates concerning the release of application forms depends on the courses preferred. For any all India entrance exam based course, the forms are out generally after 3-4 weeks after the exam completetion. For other courses for which University conducts merit and entrance exams, the notification regarding it is sent 1-2 months beforehand in the official portal of the University. No, candidates cannot join Ranchi University directly. It's only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the particular course they can get admission in to this university. Most courses are entrance based and hence, this will require the candidate to appear in that particular exam. Admission will be based on the cut-off margins of the scores obtained in the exam. The candidates are required to then submit application forms into the official portal of the University along with the exam scores. The seats are then alloted according to these applications and score evaluation.
