If a candidate wants to take M.Tech admissions, then in this case IIT Dhanbad does not accept 3 years degree. Further, for admissions to M.Sc. And MBA course, a 3 years degree programme is accepted by IIT Dhanbad.

During IIT Dhanbad placements 2023, a total of 1,049 job offers were distributed among the 1,014 students placed. Out of 234 PPOs offered, over 199 were accepted. Moreover, the IIT Dhanbad average package stood at INR 17.69 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 56 LPA.
