The mess food is average not too good or not too bad. They provide you 4-time meal in a day that is breakfast, lunch, evening and dinner. In weekend days, they make Special breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.

There is less chance to fail in internal exam. But if a student fails internal exams at Kanpur Institute of Technology he/she will have to give internal exam next year you just have to fill the back paper form so you can reappear in the exam.

This is difficult to answer but in particular department there's more strength than others. Like, CSE department have a strength of approximately 150 every year, so as ECE and IT. Comparatively, EE, ME and Civil engineering have less strength. So, about 500 is the approximate strength of student of each batch.
