IIT Kanpur is ranked 4 for Engineering by NIRF 2022. Considered under the top 5 eminent institutes in the country for Engineering education, the cutoffs are comparatively higher. In JoSAA Round 6 of 2022, BTech CSE was the top course with the highest cutoff score of 237. For other courses, such as Aerospace Engineering, the cutoff score stood at 4683 in the R-6.
