More than the name of the college, it is the branch and your interest in the subject, which will help you achieve your goal.
As regarding placement, if you are happy with college, your talent and skills will help you in securing a job and not the College/Institute's placement records. Whether you give priority to the course or the college is a personal decision. If you are passionate about a particular discipline, you would choose to do it in any good institution.
On the other hand, if you can stay and study only at a particular place, you may have to choose an available branch at your preferred center. We recommend you to make a decision as to which Institute you should join depending on various factors like:
