Candidates must have passed Class 12, 'A' Level or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as compulsory/ optional subjects with at least 50% aggregate or Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology or Medical Lab Technology after Class 10 or O Level from any recognised board/ university, in any country with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BSc MIT and MLT, respectively. Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognised board to apply for BSc AT & OT.

The test includes 200-300 objective-type questions across sections such as Human Anatomy, Biomechanics, Exercise, Electrotherapy, Physiotherapy-Rehabilitation in Clinical Sciences Musculoskeletal Neurology. Candidates have to score well in the test to get admission in the MPT programme.

BCA course offered by Christ University is mainly a 3 year program. The eligibility criteria for BCA is that you must have scored 60% in 12th class from a recognised board in India. The fee structure is nearly INR 150000- 220000 for Indian students.

You must give the JEE Advanced or NEET UG Exam for admission in IISC Bangalore. 

JEE Advanced ranks- for general category: 2,264-4301, EWS- 978, OBC-3073, SC- 770, ST- 616

NEET UG- very few seats, general category should aim for AIR 600.

Getting NIT surathkal with 88 percentile in JEE Mains and belogs to SC category and having home state quota is nearly possible but not guaranteed as it depends on many factors:

  • According to SC category marking criteria, they usually have relaxed cutoffs but it depends upon the overall performancr of students in your category
  • Home state quota can be helpful for other best NITs and it will give you an advantage.home state students generally have lower cutoff than other state students but for NIT surathkal, competition is still difficult even with home state quota because it is one of the top NITs in india
