MGU Kerala aka Mahatma Gandhi University has been approved as a better University as compared to Central University of Kerala since it became the top-ranked University in the state in the declaration of India Rankings 2022 under the National Institutional Rankings Framework (NIRF).

In 2022, Sikkim University offered undergraduate students a median placement package of INR 5.40 LPA. Postgraduate (2 years) students received INR 3 LPA, while Postgraduate (3 years) students received INR 6 LPA. Previously, the median packages for UG (3 years), PG (2 years), and PG (3 years) courses were INR 4.20 LPA, INR 2.40 LPA, and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively.
