Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the most popular BTech specialisations. In 2022 placements at NIT Calicut, a 100% placement was recorded for the CSE branch. As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, the institute is was ranked 31 among the top Engineering institutions in the country. Thus, it is a good college for BTech CSE aspirants.

The cutoff marks vary from one course to another. For BTech, the closing rank in 2022 ranges from 11,049 to 54,460. The eligibility criteria for BTech at Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University differ based on the course.
