To apply for the BTech course, students have to first register for the KEAM entrance exam by paying an application fee of INR 925 and INR 400 for SC students (ST students do not pay any application fee). After appearing for the exam, candidates have to appear for the counselling process to get a chance at TKM College of Engineering admission.

Candidates who want admission to any of the higher degree programmes need to apply for the KEAM exam by visiting the official website of KEAM. For the TKMCE flagship BTech course, the step-wise application process is below:
- Go to the official CEE Kerala website.
- Click on the KEAM online application link.
- Enter basic details, like name, date of birth, valid mobile number and Email ID.
- Generate a system application number and create a secure password.
- Complete the application form with all the personal, academic and other required details.
- Select preferred exam centre for the CBT exam mode test. (Please note that there is an additional fee if you opt for an international examination centre
- Upload all the required documents and pay the required application fee to submit your application.

For TKM College of Engineering M.Tech admission, students have to take the GATE exam and appear for the counselling process. Candidates can go to the official GATE website and pay the non-refundable application fee. (INR 1000 for female, SC, ST, and PWD candidates and INR 2000 for other applicants- Extended period fee will be different).

TKM College Cutoff 2026 has been released for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations via the KEAM entrance exam. Students are admitted to the BTech course via the KEAM entrance exam. The TKMCE cutoff for the KEAM exam was out in the form of ranks for different categories under the Home State quota for a total of 2 rounds. As per the TKM College BTech Cutoff 2026, the closing ranks for the General HS category varied between 1596 (CSE) and 8758 (Civil Engineering).
Students who want admission to the MTech or MPlan course have to take the GATE exam, and for the BArch course, the NATA exam is accepted by the institute. The last rank accepted by the institute for the BArch course is 263 for the General category and 1623 and 56102 for the SC and PwD categories, respectively.
