Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) Kerala offer admission to its BCom/BCom (Hons) course based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Hence, the applicants scores in Class 12 or equivalent exam are considered for selection. To get a seat in BCom course of Mahatma Gandhi University, a candidate must have the required minimum qualification. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with the relevant subjects can apply. In addition, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board/authority.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Kottayam branch is a good institution for students who wish to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma. This institute offers two PG Diploma courses which are as follows:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Malayalam)
These courses are practical and output-oriented. But since I earlier said that if you can manage to get the Delhi one then all the other IIMCs are pale as compared to that one. So, if you'll ask me i'll once again recommend you to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.
