It is the best college for the M.Com course.
Placements: Opportunities offered in our college are good. About 70% of students got placed in our course, which is good. The maximum salary package is 33 LPA, and the minimum salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, ICICI Bank, Concentrus, etc. Almost 65% of students get internship opportunities. The top roles offered are auditor, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good for my studies. There is always Wi-Fi on our PCs, and the whole campus has Wi-Fi. Lab facilities are available. Classrooms are good, and the library is good. At the hotel, the food changes daily, but it is not very good. There are full-time clinics, playable courts, and a large amphitheater.
Faculty: Teachers of all branches are excellent. All the faculty members are very supportive and dedicated. They help us. They also help us to the best of their abilities. They are well-qualified, and the number of students is excellent. All faculty members are knowledgeable and have good practical skills. Semester exams are not difficult. The pass rate is over 76%.

B.A. in Economics - Batch of 2025

Step into success at Basil hills queen Catholicate.
Placements: Placements at Catholicate College are moderate and mainly depend on the course. While professional courses like B.Com, BBA, and computer science may get some campus recruitment support, most students pursue higher studies after graduation rather than immediate jobs. College does have a placement cell that organizes training sessions, career guidance, and invites companies, but compared to professional or urban colleges, placement opportunities are limited. Overall, placements are helpful but not the main strength of the college.
Infrastructure: Catholicate College has a spacious and green campus with a calm, peaceful atmosphere ideal for learning. It has well-equipped science and computer labs, a good library with a large collection of books and journals, and decent classroom facilities. College also has an auditorium, seminar halls, sports grounds, and a canteen. Wi-Fi and smart classroom facilities have improved in recent years. However, hostel facilities are limited and could be better. Overall, the infrastructure is good and supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively.
Faculty: Faculty members at Catholicate College are experienced and supportive, making the learning environment friendly and motivating. The curriculum follows Mahatma Gandhi University's updated syllabus, combining theory and practical work. Exams include internal assessment and end-semester written exams, with internal marks contributing to final results. Overall, academics are systematic and student-friendly.
Other: Crowd at Catholicate College is friendly, diverse, and active, with students from different parts of Kerala creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Campus life is vibrant, with many cultural events, arts festivals, sports competitions, and active student clubs like NSS, NCC, and various arts and nature clubs. There are frequent seminars, celebrations, and union activities that keep the campus energetic. Overall, it offers a balanced mixture of academics and fun, making student life enjoyable and memorable.

It's a very strict college and has a quiet atmosphere making it a good place to study.
Placements: 20 percent students were placed through campus interviews and other offers which the college offered. SBI is the top recruiting company. 20 percent students got internships and 20 percent of the students got placed as financial managers, Bank employees, CA, and in marketing sector.
Infrastructure: The labs and library are very cool but do not have enough space. The labs are tiny and it should be expanded according to the needs of the students. Classrooms are very nice and well furnished along with being smart classes. The campus is too small but it's filled with greenery.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. The semester exams are conducted under the regulation of Mahatma Gandhi University so it's hard from my point of view. The passing percentage is 70-80%. It's easy to pass the exams but you need to study hard to score well.
Other: It's a good course to get better jobs. The events and fest are so beautiful and the best. You can see it all on the Instagram pages.

The college has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The college placements provide diverse opportunities and strong industry connections. The training sessions, mock interviews, and resume support are incredibly helpful. However, there is scope for improvement in the core company outreach. It is very good in placement.
Infrastructure: The college hostel offers a decent living environment with good security and basic amenities. The rooms are fairly maintained, and the mess food is average but manageable. Some improvement in cleanliness and internet speed would really enhance the experience.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, blending theory with practical insights. The courses are well-structured and industry-relevant, fostering a strong academic foundation. Interactive learning and project work make the curriculum engaging and future-ready.
Other: The college campus is spacious and lively, with ample greenery and well-maintained buildings. Recreational spots and study areas are thoughtfully designed. It fosters a vibrant student culture, though better waste management could improve sustainability.

M.Sc. in the discipline of polymer chemistry.
Placements: Some terminologies and factors usually decide the packages provided to the hired candidates, it's usually decided at the time of hiring. Even the same company would offer the maximum and the minimum pay. Evonik, Atomgrid, and Agsar Paints are some of the efficient recruiters.
Infrastructure: To explore various industries and companies, all the arrangements are made by the college itself instead of our own. This simplifies our unnecessary tension, but extends our payable fees. Some luxurious facilities like cafe, mini bank are available within the college.
Faculty: Very limited number of teachers are arranged to handle students of our courses. But teachers are particularly providing academic education for our discipline. All lectures are certified with good academic service. But exam results are not so high than the other departments.

An average college.
Placements: Only 10% of students were placed, and on very poor packages. 1.8-2.25 lacs per annum is the average package. Companies like Sutherland visit here. 100% of students got internships in various companies, but they are not practically able to do the programs that they are studying.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. The labs are okay to use. Classrooms are average. The library is very small. There is no proper hostel for arts students, but they get accommodation at the engineering hostel. The mess and rooms are good in the hostel. The warden and other staff are very friendly and such lovable people.
Faculty: Faculty is very boring. Teaching quality is so poor. The course curriculum needs to be updated. About 50% of students pass the exams. Semester exams are okay, and exams are usually conducted at the college, like internal and model exams, and the marks are considered for internal marks.
Other: Some fests and events are conducted in college.
