Yes, the Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala reserves seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC candidates. There are seats reserved under the Sports/Cultural/PD Quota as well. At the aided colleges, the seat bifurcation is as follows:
- Open quota seats: 50% in the case of aided/aided forward community Colleges and 40% in the case of aided backward Community Colleges
- For SC/ST candidates: 15% for SC and 5% for ST categories
- Community Merit Quota Seats: 10% in the case of aided/aided forward community Colleges and 20% in the case of aided backward Community Colleges

Yes, Mahatma Gandhi University offers three-year BA programme. The course is offered across different specialisations, including Economics, English, Hindi, Political Science, etc. MGU offer the UG course on its campus and through its affiliated colleges. The university offer admission to these courses on a merit-basis through a centralised allotment process (CAP). Bangalore Institute of Management Studies accept national/state level exam scores for MBA course admission. The accepted exams are KMAT/Karnataka PGCET/MAT/CAT/CMAT.
