The institute offers a total number of 445 seats in the BTech course, from which IIITM Gwalior offers a maximum number of seats for BTech in CSE courses. The total number of seats offered to BTech in CSE specialisation is 75. Additionally, in the BTech + M.Tech integrated course, the institute offers a maximum number of seats in BTech + M.Tech in information Technology specialisation i.e., 90.

While preparing the IIITM Gwalior BTech cutoff, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of IIITM Gwalior BTech- previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the BTech specialisation-wise, IIITM Gwalior JEE Mains cutoff for BTech course.

IIITM Gwalior BTech cutoff 2025 has not been released yet. However, if candidates compare the cutoff for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 will find out that the closing rank for the BTech course has been increased and the competition has decreased. Hence, the cutoff trend of BTech in CSE showcases a declining trend. Check out the below table to get a clear idea:

Students must bring the following documents (original and photocopies) at the time of reporting for BTech course at IIITM Gwalior for verification. Till the documents are verified, candidates' admission to the institute will be provisional. Check out the list of documents below:

Currently, IIITM Gwalior has not released the commencement date of BTech classes for new sessions i.e., 2025. However, according to the previous year's academic calendar. The classes for BTech courses have been started in the month of July. Hence, for this year the classes might begin on similar dates to the previous batch.

IIITM Gwalior offers a four-year BTech course at the undergradate level. IIITM Gwalior admission to the BTech course usually starts in the month of March-April after the JEE Mains exam result declaration. The final selection is based on the JEE Mains scores followed by JoSAA counselling. The centralised JoSAA counselling process for offering admission to BTech is done through online mode. Selected candidates have to further report at the institute to complete formalities for admission confirmation.
