MP has about 8 top ranked Engineering colleges as per NIRF ranking 2025. Out of which, 4 colleges are owned by the government and 4 are private colleges. JEE Main is the top entrance exams for admission to the best Engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Amity University Gwalior has a good record of placements. In 2023, the placement percentage at the university remained at 93.88%. The highest salary package went up to INR 34.50 LPA and the average package reached INR 5.04 LPA. B.Tech CSE as well as ECE achieved 100% placement.
