The packages offered in IIT B are quite well. It is rumored that average was around Rs.6 LPA. IIT - B is perhaps premier institute of aeronautical/ aerospace engineering.

My suggestion would be IBS Mumbai. Based on your return on investment of 2 years PGPM program. Other than that IBS Mumbai provides second largest recruitment to its students successfully after IBS Hyderabad. As far as infrastructure is concerned it has a good ambience in the heart of Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai . Even the faculties are well experienced and expertise in their field of knowledge based on 3 sets of faculties that is visiting faculty, adjunct faculty and full time faculty. The current average package offered at Welingkar - Mumbai is around Rs.8 LPA. If the market situation improves more and there are a lot of good quality students in the college, the companies are bound to offer them good packages. So, the figure might be around Rs.10 LPA.
Welingkar is not that famous for finance. It is better that you can try for NL Dalmia, if you really want to. It's one of the best B-schools in Maharashtra, especially for finance.

90-92 Percentile is cutoff, Placements have been tad average and salaries range in 3-5 LPA which is 50% lower than top 50 B-Schools. Overall, decent infrastructure and faculty.
