I have seen in many universities that they don't accept the candidates from KSOU whether for job or for higher studies. So, firstly opt for some other university. Secondly, for a technical course opt for regular mode instead of a distance/ correspondence mode.
There are many good universities offering MCA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like Manipal, Lovely, Kurukshetra, Himachal, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. Some even offer good scholarships.
Good luck.

National Institute of Engineering, Mysore is really a good institution for engineering. Faculty members are pretty experienced, North Indians are there, so you will not have that much problem. Now, coming to the gender ratio, it is around 10:2-3 as like other engineering colleges.
Hope this helps.

The university conducts entrance exam for admission to all the PG courses.
MBA, MCA and M.Tech admissions are done through entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic record and entrance test score in 50:50 ratio.
Post the written test, a merit list will be released, following which the selected candidates will have to approach the concerned university departments to complete the admission process.
