Idealis, is the main student housing provider in Wageningen and students have to register on Room.nl to find the housing. To be eligible for priority housing, students must match the following conditions:
- Must be admitted as a BSc or MSc student at WUR
- The distance between the home address and university's campus must be over 130 km
- Students have paid their tuition fees

Once the Admissions office of WUR has checked all the documents, the application is forwarded to the admissions board of the particular program. Students are going to receive the result within 6-8 weeks after submitting the application. After the admission, students are going to be informed about the enrolment process.

To apply for the University of Wageningen, the applicants can apply via studielink. Then, upload the documents at the Wageningen University application portal (Osiris). The general application steps are given below:
- First of all, apply via studielink and then, upload the documents over Osiris
- Then, complete the study choice check (online questionnaire)
- Then, submit the certified documents
- Next, pay the tuition fees
- After the university has received the admission documents and students have paid the tuition fees, WUR will start the application of your visa /residence permit

As per an unofficial source, Wageningen University and Research Center acceptance rate is between 44% and 55%. This shows that the university is selective during admission. So, the students willing to join this university must meet the entry requirements and submit the application on time. For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have previous education equal to the level of the Dutch Pre-University Diploma. On the other hand, for admission to Master's program, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field of Science relevant to the programme is required.
