New Zealand government does not offer Permanent Residency immediately after completing your studies. Students need to get a post study work visa. It is most preferred route for international students. Duration of PSW visa depends on level of your qualification and where you studied. It can be for 1, 2, or 3 years.

Both The Regent International Educational Group in New Zealand and University of Waikato are good educational institutes to prefer for higher studies. 

But there is a difference between the courses offered by both the universities. 

The Regent International Educational Group:-

Off-campus living provides more independence, potentially lower costs, but might require commuting and fewer social opportunities.
