The University of Canterbury offers a generous number of scholarships, nearly 500 to all their international students, on all levels of study and academic college of choice. Each of the University of Canterbury scholarships for international students ahve different eligibility criteria (such subject/course, level, citizenship, age, gender, school, region, etc.) and may require different supporting documentation. Also, students are required to apply separately for scholarships at UC. Students are advised to first review the criteria and then fill out the appropriate form online.

Yes, the University of Canterbury requires students to attend a formal interview during admissions, before the decisions are taken. Applicants might also be asked to appear for a writing test at UC, for admission into certain courses. The international students applying to the University of Canterbury can attend the interview online, either through Skype or telephone at a pre-arranged time. The deadline for the interview process should be checked too. However, UC does accept late applications. Candidates can expect the interview to be conducted by Early-November.

At the University of Canterbury, students are required to download an application form, fill in the accurate details and submit it in order to apply to the university. While applying to the university, the students do not have to pay any money as UC does not charge any application fee. In order to get into the University of Canterbury's, all international postgraduate students must meet the entry requirements listed below:

  • Completed online application;
  • Undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar) in a field relevant to chosen specialisation;
  • A year of postgraduate study, following an undergraduate degree (if applying for a 120 point Master’s degree);
  • Grades: 60-70% (depends upon course of choice);
  • Official academic transcripts; and

Le Cordon Bleu has campues in many countries around the world. Therefore, the applicaiton fee will vary from campus to campus. However, for an example, the application fee for Le Cordon Bleu is CAD 500 per applicant. This is a non-refundable application fee. All students are required to pay the application fee after submitting the application form. Else their application form will not be accepted for evaluation.
