No, it is not mandatory to have maths subject in your 12th grade ICSE or any other boards.And, still you can study BCom degree, at St. Xavier's college or any other college you set your sights on.There's a general B.Com that covers all the commerce basics, or you can pick a specialised B.Com to dive deeper into something specific like accounting or marketing.

Yes, you can apply for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme at BIT Mesra, Ranchi while waiting for your BCA final year results. If you choose, your access will be temporary until you provide the required documentation. The MCA programme at BIT Mesra is a 2-year postgraduate course in Computer Programming with entrance tests such as Mathematics, Analytical Ability, Computer skills, English Language etc. The total cost of the project will be Rs 5,16,000. Placement opportunities are very good in Ranchi University. Placement cell coordinates well with students. If we talk about average package, it is around INR 4.6LPA. However many big companies also visit campus with good salaries up to INR 9LPA. If you work hard you can grab big packages also.
Considering the market situation and recession, Ranchi university is still doing great in placements.

B.Tech at Ranchi University is a 4 year course. The course offers admission to 120 students. The total tuition fee for B.Tech is INR 2.38 Lakh. However this is only college fees. Hostel and Mess fees are not included in this.
Ranchi University is very affordable for all students.
