NLU Ranchi Cutoff 2026 (Out): Check CLAT Round Wise Ranks

NUSRL Ranchi offers a wide range of law courses. It accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score to select candidates. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoffs for admissions to various law courses in different NLUs. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2024 for the Fifth Round of Allotment, the Last Round ranks for the General AI category for BA LLB(Hons) and LLM in Intellectual Property Rights were in 1594 and 1623, respectively. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the Last Round was 3005 and 3234, respectively, for both courses. For more cutoff-related information, click here.

CLAT cutoff 2024 is released for various categories including General, OBC, SC and ST amongst others. As per the CLAT 2024 the All India closing ranks for the General category stood at 1432. For OBC category, the closing ranks stood at 2733.

Going as per the aforementioned cutoffs, candidate with an AIR 2428 and OBC 278 is eligible for the OBC catgeory and not the General category. Since as of now, only Round 3 Seat Allotment has been released, candidates with the mentioned AIR can wait until remaining rounds for the further cutoffs.    

For NLU Ranchi BA LLB (Hons), the last round closing rank is 1667 for the General category under All India Quota. For the LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights course, the closing rank is 1597 for the General category All India candidates. 

The NLU Odisha CLAT cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the UG and PG-level courses based on the CLAT exam and its counselling process. The cutoff was out for various categories under the AI and HS quota. 

For the Genera AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 800  to 1155 for BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB and LLM courses. Students can refer to the table below to know the cutoff range for both the General AI and HS quota for the aforementioned courses.

The seat intake is the accepting capcity for a particular course. Out of the total seats, 50% of them are reserved for students from Jharkhand and remaining 50% for students from other states. Below is course-wise NLU Ranchi seat intake:
