As it is the top university of the state, it gets support from all ways of society.

Placements: In the year 2020, the placement rate was around 70%. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Review of NLU Ranchi (NUSRL) - National University of Study and Research In Law.

Placements: Around 50% of the students attend for the campus placements, and almost 90% of them get a decent placement with a salary package ranging from 6 LPA-20 LPA. Firms like Wadia Gandhy, Singh and Associate and some other recognised firms visit our college for placements. Other students opt for higher education like LL.M. Judiciary or UPSC, and some go for practice.

Infrastructure: The administrative wing is quite good with fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. Classrooms are very good and well maintained. The library is of 2-f...

Placements are getting better every year.

Placements: As the university was established in 2010, the placements are not that good as in tier-1 NLUs. But each year, it is increasing and getting better. Companies like Khaitan, Lutra, etc., offer placements to students. Almost 80% of the students get placed. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The hostel is well managed. The library is equipped with a wide range of books. The Wi-Fi speed is around 15 Mbps, which is good. Reputed doctors are available 24x7 to help students. There is also a special ward if in case students are depressed and want to talk about it, and also doctors help them. There is a gym, badminton court and basketball court available here. There is a big field in which students can play cric...

NUSRL is a place with good combination of nature and studies.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Majority of the students prepare for judiciary and litigation instead of going to the corporate sector. The salary packages offered may be low. Overall, the placements are good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Our college provides a good hostel facility with all the rooms having separate balconies which is one of the most important factors for air circulation. A badminton court is available. Classrooms are in great condition.

Well, one need not to worry about placements opportunities while an NLU is concerned. NUSRL Ranchi also being an NLU has some good placements statistics so far. The batch of 2017 has received as much as 29 offers by top law firms such as Khaitan&co, Luthra and Luthra and also corporate firms such as Wipro offering the highest packages. The on campus placements opportunities thus are fantastic here and also being an NLU it has an edge over other institutes.
Moreover, NUSRL is very well flourishing NLU and thus the opportunities for on campus placements are going to increase in near future.
However, the present statistic is quite good.
Also, being an NLU graduate, you have certain advantage in every job interview and also beyond campus placements you may option jobs on your own.
Also, you have options beyond campus placements which includes judiciary and litigation primarily
Also, apart from firms you have some PSUs and Banks offering jobs based on exams wherein you shall have advantages in interviews.
Thus, you have ample placement opportunities at NUSRL both on campus and off-campus.

The National University of Study & Research in Law is one of the prominent legal institutions in India.
The college is known for its well experienced faculty, library and great infrastructure which is very important for the overall development of the students. Also the law graduates from this college have always outshine in various fields of law. The law school has a dedicated Internship and Placement Cell which works all the year for the students.
The University endeavors to develop strong inter-linkages with the industry, law firms, advocates, and regulatory bodies by organizing a six week internship program for the students at the end of every semester.
The placements given to the students are also very good. Top recruiters from various law firms, corporate companies and NGO's visit the college to hire law graduates. To name a few they are,
1. Aeltemesh Rein & Co. Law Consultant
2. Athena Law Associates.
3. J. Sagar Associates.
4. Kanth & Associates.
5. Luthra & Luthra.
6. Axis Bank.
7. BHEL.
8. Helpage India.
9. Reliance Foundation.
10. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
These are only a few of them. There are many other firms, Companies as well. The details regarding the same can be found on the website of the college.
The placement record has been quite appreciable.
I hope this information proves helpful to you.
Feel free revert back for any further details or questions regarding the same.
Wish you all the very best.

My reason is first, the college is located in Mumbai so your chances for internship and exposure is higher in this case. Plus, being a private college in Mumbai, they can call good firms, corporate houses, companies, etc. for recruitments thus giving better placements.
Also, being one of the best private Universities in India, they have good faculty, infrastructure, everything.
The reviews that I got from students studying there is good.
With NUSRL, the issue is the location. Although Ranchi is a developing city, still.
Just because of the NLU tag, one should not opt for a college as regarding exposure and everything, SVKM would be better according to me.
