The aspirants with a valid integrated law course/LLB degree passed with at least 55% aggregate can register to take the test. The application form can be filled out through the CLAT official website. After CLAT result announcement, the cutoff rank is announced. Candidates who meet the NLU Ranchi LLM CLAT cutoff have to participate in the CLAT counselling to secure a seat. After the seat allotment, selected students have to report to the university and pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

Candidates need to pass LLB or a five-year integrated BA LLB/ any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for NLU Ranchi LLM course. Besides, candidates must also pass CLAT for admission in LLM programme. One must also hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The NUSRL Ranchi LLM cutoff list is prepared based on applicants' Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoff lists for counselling rounds. Recently, the Round 1 seat allomtent has been released for All India and Home State quotas. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2025 for the needed rank to get admission to for the BA LLB (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) course is 1476 and 1504 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The NLU Ranchi accepts CLAT entrance exam, followed by the counselling rounds for admitting students to its law courses.

CLAT cutoff 2024 is released for various categories including General, OBC, SC and ST amongst others. As per the CLAT 2024 the All India closing ranks for the General category stood at 1432. For OBC category, the closing ranks stood at 2733.

Going as per the aforementioned cutoffs, candidate with an AIR 2428 and OBC 278 is eligible for the OBC catgeory and not the General category. Since as of now, only Round 3 Seat Allotment has been released, candidates with the mentioned AIR can wait until remaining rounds for the further cutoffs.
