 Classes for all the courses offered at the University generally commence in the month of August every year.

Candidates with a BCA or BSc degree in IT/ CS with at least 45 per cent aggregate are eligible to apply to MCA (LE) programme at the University.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in graduation in order to apply for MBA admission at the University.

 As per the basic eligibility criteria for UG admission at ICFAI University Sikkim, candidates must pass Class 12.

NIT Sikkim offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in the field of Science, Commerce, and Humanities, including BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD. At NIT Sikkim, these courses are offered through nine departments across multiple specialisations. BTech is the flagship course offered by the Institution. National exams like JEE Main and GATE are accepted by the Institution for admission to BTech and M.Tech courses.

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore started the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 registration on Aug 30. GATE application form 2024 is available online at the exam official website. Aspirants can visit the website to apply. Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Sikkim are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. NIT Sikkim offers a four-year BTech programme in  five specialisations for the BTech programme, which include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. NIT Sikkim admission to the flagship BTech course is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main.
