Usually Compartment doesn't affect you eligibility criteria for admission process.
You are having very high chances of getting admission in colleges after a compartment.
If you planning for IIT, AIIMS then please don't worry about your compartment, you only need to focus on your entrance exam's study .
Compartment can never be a thing that describes, who you are exactly. It's just a wrong notion, having widely spread as a misconception.
Do not lose heart just perform extremely better in you compart. Exam.
All the best.

As of my knowledge and findings there is no direct admissions or management seats at SMIT Sikkim. According to the official website of SMIT Sikkim, admission to most courses is based on the SMET exam scores, which is an entrance exam conducted by the university.
The eligibility criteria for admission to BCA and BBA courses at SMIT Sikkim is passing 10+2 with 50% for general category and 45% for the reserved category.
Admission to all the courses at SMIT Sikkim is merit-based or entrance exam score-based.
The selection of candidates for MCA/M.Sc (IT) courses will be done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by SMIT.

SMIT is one of the best colleges and also have the best infrastructure, better than most of the college in Sikkim. It has a huge vicinity and an amazing sports facility.
