It must be a rule for. You that you be very open and dedicated to learning any engineering. Indian Space and Research Organisation is not just concerns with Physics. The machines, Research shall surely need engineering and that too in Core Engineering subjects. Mechanical is one of them. Please see if you can do Electronics and Communication, or Mechanical Engineering and learn as much as possible. Focus on Your Research Competence and try for Jobs that are released by ISRO.

BA Arabic specializes in spoken and written Arabic language and grammar. You will study arabic literature mostly.

B.Tech at IIST is quite reputed but doesn't assure you any job.

Hello Hermione, Always remember"Failure is never final". You can always get better by hard work. It's nice to see your aim of getting into IIST at Trivendrum. Eligibility for this is JEE Advanced and for that one needs 75% marks in 12th. However there are plenty of other good colleges with this branch. If after revaluation, your 12th Marks gets increased from 70% to 75%, then you will be getting IITs and IIST. Or you have to go for state-level Government Colleges or private Colleges in India.
