No, Vishwakarma University and VIT University are not the same. They are two different institutes that offer various courses in engineering and technology. Vishwakarma University is located in Pune, Maharashtra, and is affiliated to UGC. VIT University is located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, and is accredited by NAAC. You can check the official websites of both institutes for more information.

VIT Business School offers better placement than PSGIAS. In 2023, more than 150 recruiters visited the VITBS campus for MBA placements, with the highest and average packages being INR 15 LPA and INR 9.68 LPA, respectively. So, if your target is placement then you should choose VITBS.

There were more than 125 offers which were made and total 105 recruiters who visited the VIT Campus. HDFC, ICICI Securities and Citi Union Bank being the top most recruiters in VIT.

VIT Vellore accepts CATMATXAT and NMAT scores, followed by a PI round for admission to the MBA (Master of Business Administration) course. During the VIT Vellore MBA cut off 2023, the CAT percentile was 95 for the General AII India category students. As per the VIT cutoff 2022, the percentile for MAT and XAT entrance exams were 80 and 70, respectively for the MBA programme.
