Admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE/ VITMEE score followed by a counselling round. After completion of the selection rounds, Vellore Institute of Technology releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection.

Yes, MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. Vellore Institute of Technology offers MBA in six specialisations, namely Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, General Management and Production and Operation Management. MBA course is designed with a Curriculum for Applied Learning (CAL) and executes in a trimester pattern with a Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS). Students can avail of credit transfer options to foreign universities and foreign internships as per their choice.
