VIT Vellore MBA admission is based on XAT/ MAT/ NMAT entrance exam scores. Whereas for the SSN College of Engineering, MBA admission is based on a valid TANCET score. Talking about the cutoff, VIT Vellore XAT and MAT percentile were 70 and 80, respectively. For SSN, the 2023 TANCET score was 251. So, comparing the cutoff score, VIT Vellore is more competitive than SSN College of Engineering. 

Talking about other aspects like ranking, VIT Vellore is ranked 17 and SSNCE at 80 under the “overall” category in the NIRF 2023 rankings. The MBA fee in SSNCE is INR 35,000 and for VIT MBA it is INR 7 lakh. Hence, VIT is a better choice in terms of ranking. However, the fee is more economical at SSN College of Engineering.
