Manipal is better than SRM and VIT .

VIT can offer good research paperwork by which you can publish your own work but I don't think many people do research. The same research work happens in MIT also but the numbers are a bit less. If coming to the placement and facilities MIT has an upper hand.

The admission for MSc in VIT is based on the marks obtained in your graduation. For this admission you don't have to appear for VITEEE. Of course you have to fill up the form online and based on your marks, students will be shortlisted and called for the interview session and then their admission will be confirmed. Mechanical engineering, any day. It's a traditional engineering branch that has promising career options. MIT is far ahead of VIT in terms of faculty and placement. Also, the campus is cool and is situated in the hills. I'd suggest you go for mechanical engineering especially if you are interested in machines and a better career.

If you are seeking admission in an engineering college then I would like to suggest VIT as the first preference. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. It is far better than Dharmadas J. Sanghavi College. One thing, you have to adjust as it is far away. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.

If you are seeking admission in electrical engineering branch then my suggestion would be VIT. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. It is better than BMS-Bangalore. BMS-Bangalore is also a good option. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.

I'll prefer you to opt for the VIT as this college is far better than the Thapar University as VIT is one of the top private college of India and also this college is better than Thapar in every respect whether it is placements, faculty or infrastructure.
