If you're going to take Admission for B.Sc computer science after your class 12th board result, you will have to come for on spot counselling, according to your merit generated in the application offered by VIT in the month of May June itself. You can attend the counselling in either of the VIT campuses.

No Shradha, the room mates are automatically allocated according to administration but you can change later on with a valid reason if you're not compatible with your roommate.

Study wise, it is fine, but placements are not so good. So, I would suggest you to not opt for chemical engineering in VIT.

The eligibility criteria for MBA programme at VIT-Vellore is as under:-
1. A minimum of 60% marks is required in undergraduate degree from a recognized University or Institution. The Bachelor's degree should be of minimum 3 years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent.
2. The candidate should have studied in regular full-time programmes.
3. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

The exam follows a normal MCQ pattern with negative marking. There is no specific book for preparation, you can refer previous year question papers.

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc(Chemistry) from VIT is B.Sc degree in either chemistry or applied chemistry or applied science from any recognized university with physics or mathematics or biology as ancillary subject. There is no entrance exam for M.Sc programs and candidates will be called for a counseling in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programmes calculated upto the fourth semester or second year, whichever is applicable (This is inclusive of Languages / EOP and all the subjects they have studied up-to pre-final year).
