To get admission in VIT University B.Tech programme, you need to give the entrance examination (VITEEE). After the results are announced, there will be counseling based on your rank in VITEEE during which you can select your branch. For more details visit:

VIT University is known for its B.Tech programme. If you have an option, go for B.Tech in computer science over B.Sc in animation and multimedia.

Biotechnology is a branch with good scope for higher studies. Unfortunately, the placements are not at par with other branches. Most of the placement is in mass companies go with an average package of 3.5 LPA. But, VIT and SRM provide almost equal opportunities.

Yes, VIT is a good private college for engineering as it is ranked one among all the private college for engineering. And, it has well qualified faculty and good placements.

Hello pravallika,
The difference is the time period. You will be usually spending 4 years for B.Tech, and if you want to do M.Tech you will then spend another 2 years. But, in case of integrated B.Tech+M.Tech, you will be doing both the degrees is 5 years. So, your time of one year and the fees will be saved. This is the advantage of integrated course.
VIT University is a top ranked university which is known for its placements, exposure and education. So, it is good to do that. But, the only thing is that they charge a lot of fees as it is a private university. If you can pay that, then you can study there which is well and good.
