As per your rank in respective examinations you will not get admission in any NIT's or any campuses of VIT, so look forward to other colleges.

There is no scholarship for just top 10, if you are under top 50 you will get 75% scholarship (fee waiver) for all 4 years
for 51-100 50% waiver and 101-1000 25% waiver
in addition to this, if you are a board topper then you will get full fee waiver for all 4 years.
All the best!

The fee structure at VIT depends on your rank. The regular fee for computer science engineering is 2,00,000/- per annum. But if your rank is more, you will get CSE at Vellore in category 2,3,4, or 5. Means, the fee will increase by 100000 for each category. higher the category higher the fee structure.
So, if you have a good rank, then you will get the regular fee.

Your rank is not bad so you can get a seat.
VIT does not see the board exam marks, only VITEEE scores. Determine your admission but if you are a board topper, you will get a full fee waiver for all the four years.
So, please attend the counseling.
All the best!

I'll say VIT is a better option than SRM because VIT provides more exposure and better education when compared to SRM.
Moreover, placements are also good at VIT but for VIT, Vellore campus is most preferred.
If you compare VIT-Chennai, and SRM-Chennai then they are almost same but VIT is quite better than SRM.
All the best!

For all the post graduate courses, there is an entrance exam at VIT called VITMEEE.
They admit students for post graduate courses through VITMEEE scores only.
All the best.

The groups are separated based on the biology major and CSC.
If you take a look at the groups, the group A courses in Vellore will be biotechnology, bioinformatics etc. whereas the group B courses will be mostly CSE, mechanical and ECE.
You need not to select the groups but you have to select the courses and the courses will lead you to the respective groups.
All the best.
