For IndianIHM Kolkata admission, the candidates have to meet the eligibility based on Class 10, Class 12, or graduation marks. Application form is submitted online from the college website or offline by buying the form from the college. There is a merit-based admission, and shortlisted students need to have their documents verified. Admission is finally provided after payment of the course fee within time.

Yes, candidates can apply for student loans if they have applied for the West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme. According to the scheme, candidates apply for a loan of upto 10 Lacs at an interest rate of 4% per annum from the State Cooperative Bank and its affiliated Central Cooperative Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks and Public/ Private Sector Banks. If the interest is fully serviced during the study period, 1% interest concession will be provided to borrower. Candidates can make use of the scheme to fund their education in GMIT Kolkata.

GMIT Kolkata has the facility of providing scholarship schemes under central and state Government programmes. The students apply to the scholarships as per notification from the Government. The Government scholarships that students can use to aid their education are:

If we look at the BTech cutoffs of GMIT Kolkata we will see that there is no consistent trend over the years of a course bwing difficult to get into. As per the JEE Main scores the toughest course to get into in was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, whereas in 2023 it was BTech in Electrical Engineering.
At the same time, according to WBJEE entrance scores, the toughest course to get into in 2024 was BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, whereas in 2023 it was BTech in Civil Engineering. Therefore, there is not a consistent trend of a course being harder to get into in GMIT Kolkata.

If we compare the cutoffs over the years of GMIT Kolkata we will see that, out of all the BTech courses offered in GMIT, the BTech programme in Computer Science and Business Systems was the easiest to get into in 2024, while BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the easiest to get into in 2023 as per JEE Main scores.
As per WBJEE cutoffs, BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems was the easiest course to get into in both 2023 and 2024. Candidates can refer to the table below to get an idea of the cutoff ranks of the programe in 2023 and 2024:

GMIT Kolkata hasn't mentioned the application fees for its programmes. At the time of admission candidates have to pay a one-time payment of INR 24,700 which is inclusive of the application fees, admission fees, prospectus fees etc. This fee is to be paid only at the time of admission and it is non-refundable. Candidates can have a look at the university website for further breakdown of this one-time payment to be paid at the time of admission.

Candidates need to appear for the ICAR AIEEA exam to get admission for BSc in Agriculture at Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya. After scoring eligible scores in the exam, candidates need to appear for the counselling process to get admission at this institute.
