The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam from the Madhya Pradesh Board or any other Board with Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects and Mathematics, Biology, or Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects. Candidates from the General category must have received at least 50% marks, while SC/ST candidates must receive 45%. Direct admissions based on 12th results are available at Sagar Institute of Science and Technology.

Students must take and pass any of the All India Entrance Tests, such as the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT, in order to be considered for admission to the MBA programme at Sagar Institute of Science and Technology. Additionally need to have a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% overall. The students must then register for and appear for the DTE, MP State Level Counseling. Before decisions are made, successful students will be invited for an in-person interview.

Yes, Sagar Institute of Science and Technology is good for B.Tech. An average of 70% of the B.Tech students are placed every year.
