NBU offers MCA courses for a duration of two-years. For MCA admission, NBU accepts the candidates on the basis of WB JECA entrance exam. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application, commonly known as WB JECA is the exam for admission to MCA courses. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the WBJECA every year for admission in the colleges of West Bengal.

Last date to apply for admission to NBU Distance Education for the academic year 2024- 25 is over now. NBA Distance Education offers UG courses such as BA, BCom and PG courses includes MA, MSc, MCom etc. The eligibilty criteria vary for each programme.
