NBU offers MCA courses for a duration of two-years. For MCA admission, NBU accepts the candidates on the basis of WB JECA entrance exam.  The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application, commonly known as WB JECA is the exam for admission to MCA courses. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the WBJECA every year for admission in the colleges of West Bengal.

NBA Distance Education offers UG courses such as BA, BCom and PG courses includes MA, MSc, MCom etc. The eligibilty criteria vary for each programme. For 2025 admission, Interested candidate can apply online through the official website of NBU by paying an application fee of INR 100.
