Hi,
Yes, it is. CS has become very lucrative and remunerative and with the implementation of the Companies Act 2013. The scope has widened for a company secretary as a professional. A company secretary can do practice, or get appointed as a key managerial person. A company secretary is also known as compliance manager as he/she is the one with an overall and all-round knowledge of various laws applicable in the industries. So, it is noteworthy that along with the enhancement in scope, work and remuneration wise, responsibility and accountability is also increased. The salary package depends on your skills, knowledge and practical exposu

Hi,
First of all, decide whether your interest is more theoretical oriented or practical oriented. CA is the one who specialises in taxation, auditing and accounting, a majority of the subjects are practical. Company Secretary is a specialist of law, drafting and compliances. A majority of the subjects are theoretical. There's no such thing as easy or hard. Both are almost at the equal level and require the same level of hard work and understanding. Hi,
Which level of graduation are you in? If you are in the final year, it is suggested that you go for CS executive directly after clearing your graduation. If you are in the first year or so, yes you can go for the foundation programme of ICSI.
All the best.

Hi,
It's better to go for B.Com and CS. Both are in line with commerce background. Moreover, with the open options of pursuing Masters after completing your B.Com either M.Com or MBA, it is better to go for the latter combination. BCA plus MBA is also good but not as remunerative as the latter combo.
All the best.

Dear Rich,
Since you have completed your graduation and PG, you are eligible for B.Ed. However, it depends on your state's policy about the minimum required percentage for admission into B.Ed course. Just go through the government's eligibility criteria. I personally believe it should be 50%. If it is so, then you can apply for B.Ed on PG basis. I hope, this would suffice.

2) Master of Business Administration (MBA in Finance)
3) Business Accounting and Taxation (BAT)
4) Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
