The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has decided to dedicate its energies this year towards supporting the newly inducted members, the Fresher Company Secretaries by providing a suitable platform to find appropriate employment opportunities. Accordingly, ICSI planned to have Mega Placement Drive-II in every region of ICSI in November. ICSI has declared the month of May & November has placement month, wherein the Headquarter, Regional Council, and Chapters shall put their best efforts to ensure mass placement of the newly inducted members with best Job Profiles & with maximum possible packages. SGSITS-CSE/IT is much demanded branch, it will be bit difficult to get this branch in 1st round. You can expect in 2nd round, but at the end it will be depended on number of withdrawals which is quite low in case of SGSITS.

It seems difficult to get admission in any GFTI over this rank. But, you should try till last round, I hope you may a get a seat there. Best of luck.

B.Tech CS is a better option to pursue as it has better career opportunities in future and good jobs.

The 1st year of engineering is common for all, although you are divided into two categories only on the basis of physics group or chemistry group, it depend on the institute.
