For B.E in CSE, Chandigarh University is really amazing and placement rate is 100%. The placements are top- notch as MNCs like Google, Accenture, Deloitte, HP, Flipkart, Wipro, and Samsung visit the campus. CU trains students from day one through its Career Planning and Development Department (DCPD) with resume building, mock interviews, GDs, and more. Each department has also a placement coordinator and faculty support to guide students. The university has tie-ups and collaborations with KPIT, Capgemini, Virtusa, IBM, Oracle, Intel, and CISCO etc.

In 2025, the closing rank for M.Tech CSE at IIITM Gwalior under general category for all India quota was 529. Likewise, the cut off ranks for OBC AI quota was 486 for the CSE specialisation. Students should aim for atleast a score of 529 or higher to secure admissions at IIIT Gwalior for M.Tech CSE. Though the exact cutoff may vary depending on the number of candidates appearing for the examination, the difficulty level, past year trend cycle, etc.

I have not heard any cons about the CSE programme at Chandigarh University. I have only heard about the pros and some of them are:

  • The engineering department offers different courses like CSE and CSE with specializations. Students can choose elective subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things.

  • The university has soo modern campus, big buildings, labs and library. There are special research centers and tie-ups with big companies.

  • The department has top-class labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab, Virtusa Robotics & Automation Center, and

The CSE faculty at Chandigarh University are active in teaching and helping students learn both theory and practical skills. They focus on preparing students for future jobs and industry requirements. The department has good labs, workshops, and technology facilities where students can practice and improve their skills. Teachers give guidance on coding, software tools, and problem-solving. They also help students with interviews and placement preparation. On average, CSE graduates get packages around ₹8–9 LPA, though it can vary depending on student effort and preparation.
