Since you're weak in Physics, CSE at IIIT Bhubaneswar is the best choice—good placements, manageable Physics, and better infrastructure. NIT Mizoram is remote, and ECE at IIIT Jabalpur requires more Physics.

With a JEE rank of 232,385, getting CSE in top NITs/IIITs is very unlikely. She may get CSE in lower-tier NITs, GFTIs, or state colleges, and should consider ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup branches.

With an SC rank of 12,000, admission to Computer Science (CS) depends on the counselling authority, total seats, and reservation policies.

  • Top NITs/IIITs: Unlikely, as CSE usually requires much lower ranks.

  • Lower-tier NITs, GFTIs, or state colleges: You may have a good chance.

  • Consider other branches like ECE, IT, or EE as backups to secure admission.

With a KCET rank of 52,000 for BE Computer Science & Engineering, getting into top Karnataka colleges (like RVCE, PES, BMSCE, MSRIT) is highly unlikely, as these usually require ranks within top 1,000–3,000.

You can consider:

  • Lower-tier NITs/Private colleges in Karnataka

  • State colleges with available CSE seats in later counselling rounds

  • Other branches like ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup.

With a JEE Main rank of 75,166, top NITs/IIITs for CSE/IT are unlikely. Consider lower-tier NITs, non-premier IIITs, GFTIs, and state engineering colleges. Include ECE/EE/IT-related branches as backup in your JoSAA choices.

In the second phase of engineering counselling, the best colleges may have fewer seats as top colleges often fill in the first phase. You can still get good options, but choices depend on your rank, category, and available seats.

Chandigarh University has seen strong placements for its CSE students with Robotics and AI specialisation. The course connects both software and automation fields, which opens more job options. Students get placed in big IT firms, research companies, and technology startups. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, and SAP Labs often recruit from the university. Many students also get training and internship offers that later turn into full-time jobs. The placement drive includes both national and international companies offering competitive packages.
