Hey! As a 2nd-year CSE student here, the OBC cutoff varies each year with JEE Main ranks and UPTAC rounds, but aiming under 2-2.5 Lacs is usually safe. Honestly, the coding culture and tech exposure we get make the hustle completely worth it!

As per the official website of MAHE Dubai, the BTech Computer Science Engineering average package after graduating is AED 50,000 to AED 60,000 per year (INR 12.87L to INR 16.44L).
International students get an easier pathway for international placements in fields like Tech, Global Consulting Hubs and Finance.
The packages after MAHE Dubai CSE have been as high as USD 85,000 (INR 80.18L).

Core CSE is a great choice because it gives you a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, OS, DBMS and networking. Specializations like AI & ML are also excellent if you're genuinely interested in those fields. At Galgotias University, both offer good learning opportunities, choose based on your career goals rather than just the branch name.
