In order to get admission in BCT you need to have HSC or equivalent recognised exam with English, physics, chemistry and biology with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% for reserved category.

Talking about the gap, this will depend on the nature of your gap whether you prepared for some exams or gained work experience etc. You may have to submit a statement of activity to the university along with your SOP to justify your gap.
