The "best" teaching course depends on your career goals and educational background. For those wanting to teach in primary and secondary schools, the Bachelor of Education (BEd) is a foundational and widely recognised degree in India. Those with a bachelor's degree can pursue a BEd, while those without can opt for a Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd). For advanced training, the Master of Education (MEd) is a popular choice.

Yeah, B.Ed is literally a must now if you wanna teach in schools, especially govt and CBSE/ICSE ones. After RTE and NEP 2020, rules got way stricter.

Even private schools are like “no B.Ed, no job.” And if you're aiming for CTET or State TET, B.Ed is non-negotiable. So if you're serious about teaching as a career, you really can't dodge B.Ed anymore.
