1. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with a focus on mathematics or a Bachelor's in Mathematics followed by a teaching certification. Many states require that teachers at this level have a degree in education with a specialisation in the subject they will teach.
2. State Teaching Certification – Most regions require you to pass certification exams for middle school teaching. These tests often include a general teaching exam and a subject-specific exam for math.
3. Additional Requirements – In some areas, you might need a Master's in Education (M.Ed.) or a specific number of credit hours in maths.

To become a teacher, you need to obtain a B.Ed degree from a recognised university after completing your graduation or post-graduation. Those who finish graduation and B.Ed become TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) whereas those who complete post-graduation and B.Ed become PGT (Post Graduate Teacher). On the basis of one's skills and choices, a candidate can teach primary or secondary or senior secondary students.

Both Montessori International Teaching and Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) courses equip individuals to work with young children in their formative years. However, their orientations and career paths differ significantly. Let's dive into the specifics:

You have to become a popostgraduateeacher first. For that, I have listed the PGT criteria -
PGT Maths eligibility:
- Master's degree with atleast 50% marks in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.
- B.Ed. From recognised university
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
So first you have to do a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject. Then do the Master's degree in Mathematics+ B.Ed.
