One should be at least 18 years of age to pursue the NTT course. A few colleges may accept 17 years of age as well. This is to make sure candidates are mature enough to handle such small children.

For teaching class 11th and 12th, You have to do Bachelor's degree and then do Master degree with at least 50% marks and you will be called PGT.

•Then enroll your self to a B.Ed course. Complete teaching internship 

•After B Ed get CTET/ STET ( Central teachers eligibility test/ state teacher eligibility test). You are eligible to become a teacher.

If you will take CTET then you are eligible to become teacher in any state of India otherwise if do STET which is state specific then you will be able to teach only in that state.

To become a teacher, you need to obtain a B.Ed degree from a recognised university after completing your graduation or post-graduation. Those who finish graduation and B.Ed become TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) whereas those who complete post-graduation and B.Ed become PGT (Post Graduate Teacher). Admissions for PTT courses are through merit as well as entrance examinations. A minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade must be scored for successful admission. Candidates need to clear any state-level or national-level entrance and the merit list shall be declared by the institutes on the basis of which admission is given to the candidates.
