Hi Sumati, yes, you are eligible to appear for both Paper I and Paper II of the CTET exam after completing B.Ed. For Paper I (Classes 1–5), you'll need to do a 6-month Bridge Course later if selected. For Paper II (Classes 6–8), you're fully eligible without any extra requirement.

If you took admission in D.Ed in May 2025, then in July–August 2025 you will be in 1st year.

CTET lets in the handiest final or 2nd-year students.

So, you'll not be eligible in July–August 2025.

You can apply for CTET subsequent 12 months when you reach the second year.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) if you have completed B.Sc. (Computer Science) and MCA, provided you meet the additional educational qualifications required by the exam. For teaching at the primary level (Class 1-5), a Diploma in elementary education or equivalent is necessary. For the upper primary level (Class 6-8), you need a B.Ed. degree. If you have a B.Ed., you can apply for the CTET for upper primary teaching.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) if you have completed your Bachelor's degree in Hindi and have finished the Hindi Aptitude Test (HAPT) training. According to the eligibility criteria of CTET, candidates must have a relevant Bachelor's degree along with a Diploma or degree in education (such as D.Ed. or B.Ed.).

The educational qualifications that the candidates have to fulfill in order to appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the July 2024 session include a Bachelor's degree with a D.El.Ed or B.Ed for the Primary Stage (Class I-V), and a Bachelor's degree with a B.Ed or equivalent qualification for the Upper Primary Stage (Class VI-VIII). Since you have an MCA degree, you can apply for the Upper Primary Stage (Class VI-VIII) if you hold a B.Ed. Teaching experience is not considered a criterion for eligibility.
