CTET Eligibility

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, is a State Public University established by the act of State Legislature in 1992, and was brought into force on 1st June 1996. KSOU are recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) New-Delhi video order No: F. No 14-5/2018 (DEB-I) Dated : 14th August 2018 for the period from 2018-19 to 2022-23. Hence its all courses are valid for government. jobs. The eligibility criteria of CTET is given below.
1. For paper-1 (Primary stage) : Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
2. For paper-2 (Elementary stage) : Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). So from above, Apart from Graduation the B.Ed. , B. El. Ed or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education are mandatory here for CTET. Further there is no upper age limit for CTET exam. Hence you are not eligible.
