Hi.Yes, you are eligible for giving the CTET exam

Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories) marks and have passed the D.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course are eligible to apply for CTET Paper 1.

Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree and passed B.Ed/ D.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for the CTET Paper 2 exam.

The eligibility criteria of KVS TGT is given below for an idea.

Eligibility 2023: TGT Educational Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.

B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Pass in the CTET Paper II by CBSE or appear in CTET.

Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.
