Like any MS SOP, SOP for Data Science should also be crisp and precise. A lengthy SOP should certainly be avoided. You must not include your life story in detail. The focus should only be on details and experiences related to data science. An ideal word limit will be around 800-1000 words. Also, it is important to check university guidelines as few universities specify exact word limit.
